Today, Friday, the Digital Media Center in Iraq reported that Facebook offered a reward to the Iraqi youth, Ma'mal Ahmed Shakir, after he reported a new vulnerability on its website.
In a statement, the center quoted Shakir as saying that “the new vulnerability allows the attacker or hacker to know the identity of the supervisors of the pages,” adding that he informed Facebook about it, and the latter fixed it and rewarded him with a sum of $4,000.

The center said that “Facebook” put Moaamel’s name on its “thank you list” for the year 2021, in which Moaamel occupied 36th place out of 129 names from around the world, the company thanked them on behalf of its users.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi, Maamel Ahmed, had previously received several rewards from the company as a result of revealing several loopholes related to Facebook and Instagram.
